With deep sector knowledge gained over 30 years, we are trusted by transport authorities, bus operators and rail operators worldwide.

As a leading specialist of integrated transport software, Bus Services Operation Grant (BSOG) certification, and concessionary fares consultancy, we are looking for an entry level Assistant Auditor to join and grow within our Consultancy team. This role is ideal for a graduate level or early-career individual who is curious, motivated and keen to build practical, hands-on experience in audit and consultancy within a supportive team environment. You do not need prior experience, we provide structured training, clear guidance and ongoing support to help you build confidence and succeed in the role.

While previous audit experience is not required, the role suits someone who enjoys working with data, pays close attention to detail and takes a careful, methodical approach to their work.

To support the auditing of clients’ data within the transport industry, helping to ensure accurate, complete data that is compliant with regulatory requirements.

Working closely with experienced Senior Auditors, you will learn how to prepare high-quality audit files and contribute to the delivery of timely, accurate and reliable outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate professionally with clients to request information, clarify data and respond to straightforward queries

Prepare and maintain well-organised audit files ready for review

Flag any issues or inconsistencies to Senior Auditors and help provide clear information to support decision-making

Assist in preparing reports and written summaries of findings from audits

Provide support across the wider business when needed, supporting overall team objectives, including (but not limited to) IT support, software testing and processing clients’ data on their behalf

Manage workload effectively to meet deadlines and adapt to changes in priorities

Most of the work will be computer-based, using systems designed specifically for transport companies

Development & Progression

This is an entry-level role with structured training, hands-on experience, and ongoing support from experienced auditors who will help you build confidence and capability over time.

You will gain strong foundations in audit methodology, transport-sector compliance, and client delivery, with the opportunity to progress into more senior audit or consultancy roles as your experience grows, subject to performance and business needs.
